action planning 04/06

Good morning! I’m certainly up early to post this!

How is everyone doing this week? I hope Eve is back safely from her trip and feeling better. Haven’t heard from her in a week or more. Eve? I’m going to have to call and harass you soon!

My exercise goal went fairly well. I’m making progress and I managed a couple days outside of rehab to work. I’m doing some new exercises for my hip and leg – I have no strength at all in my right leg.

Eating continues to be a bit rocky. It’s not like I’m way out of range, I just continue to eat that little bit more than I need. I’m adding a think-about goal regarding mindful eating*. It’s harder than I think it should be but I will be working on it – or at least to come up with a good plan for improving.

*if the link doesn’t work, it’s the database servers frelling up again. I hate ixwebhosting.

  1. I did more than what my goal required last week, but it felt good, so my exercise goal is on track, and i am keeping it at where it is for now, but might soon need to adjust it up a little bit.

    As for eating, I don’t have it as a stated goal, but maybe I should have, got to think about that and post later if I decide on it.

    Hope this week will go smoothly for everyone, and be both calm and exciting, in just the right doses.

  2. I made it back safely. Had to have a CT scan last week – all that icky prep stuff and contrast messed with my tummy for a few days afterward. And then Daughter’s step-daughter had a premature baby and he didn’t live long. So they all went off for about 18 hours for the funeral (had to drive about 200 miles, and then visiting with family). I stayed home where I could be miserable in peace.

    I didn’t do well with my eating or exercise goals. I’ve been craving carbs!!!! I’ve taken on a couple quilts to quilt by hand, so I’m spending a lot of time sitting and sewing and not exercising anything but my fingers and hands. lol I hope to get back to a better schedule this week. I’ve been on the computer all day, catching up with bookkeeping, etc. Now I think I’ll move to the bike for a few minutes and then do some more quilting.

    I’d like to get back to my proper diet and exercise at least 15 minutes, 3 or more days this week.
