Well the story continues……………..
After Springfield came Bulter, near Pittsburg, again via Chicago. I could swear that the airline had ploted my fights and made sure that the connecting flights’ gate was the furest point away from the arrival gate.
After arriving finally met Orrin, we hadn’t meet in rl before, so it was fun trying to id him from the masses of people.
We did the toursit things , visited an old mill (see pics), then off to University of Slippery Rock. Fun was had by all esp going out to a pub/bar, which was an education, and a resturant.
Well thats about the half way mark of my trip and then its back to Chiago and off to San Diego
Arrived in San Diego to warm weather again, so off to see the sights.
Visited the aircraft carrier , turned in a floating museum. All those stairs were a bit much for my knee. I enjoyed it emensily as ships and planes has always interested me.

The loaction of the carrier was in the downtown area which had also chanage a lot. No more strip joints left.
Went to a football (grid iron) match to watch the Chargers vs the raidiers. We tried to get there early enough to have a ‘tail gate’ party but the carparks were full and had to go else where. Caught a train to the park and had fun, once again all that walking and stairs caused a little pain but the knee seemed to get better.
Toured the headland , and seeing San diego spread around (see Pic) was great.
Went and had lunch at the Top Gun bar, more pics.
The mirimard air show was fabulus and once again all that walking. We had a bit of rain , The first that they had snice march.
Did more shopping centers and that was about it.
well its off to Navoto ( nth of San Fran) next.
PS Had a big game again , pics in games. It turned out to be a draw
