member websites

I thought it might be nice if we had a section for links to member websites. Do you have a personal blog? Flickr collection? Family homesite? Forum? Consider what sites you may want to link other members to. If no one but me as a site to add….well then it won’t be a useful link category!

  1. I have started a family website through MyFamily.com. I’m trying to make contact and get better acquainted with my cousins on my father’s side. I think you have to sign in with a password. However, if you want to try a peek go to MyFamily.com and see if you can find Bruce Newman Family. Or try this link. http://www.myfamily.com/isapi.dll?c=site&htx=main&siteid=3ZGeAI

When Zazzy started this blogsite, I inadvertently created a personal blog for myself. I post to it occasionally. adamswife.wordpress.com/ Feel free to check it out.

  2. I think that the myfamily site looks like it could be interesting. It seems like you can’t view anything on the site without joining – is there a link for visitors or something?

  3. I’ll have to research that. Seems like there should be, but maybe not.

  4. I originally became acquainted with MyFamily through my high school reunion. The organizing committee set up a MyFamily site for our class and then sent invitations to all class members. We have been keeping in touch with each other since January through this site. It has a place to post photos, capability for chats, and, of course, news posts. Plus an area for reviews of movies, books, etc. and a recipe exchange. If I can’t figure out a way for you to visit, I’ll send you an invitation with a password so that you can go in and look around. It’s really quite a good site.

  5. I want to thank you for the link to my site. I will be keeping an eye on this post to add links to our links section.
