back

Home again. I had a lot of fun touristing around and hanging out with Pug. I put him on a plane to Pittsburgh this morning, where he will visit our friend Miles. I may have a few pictures to share – I had battery issues which I hope to solve with better rechargeables.

I hope that Eve is feeling better and Schnucki has been having fun. Talked to TheDarkWraith on and off and he has been busy writing for his class. We need to convince him to share some of his writing some day!

Hugs to all!

By the way – do I have approval for making the blog our permanent or semi-permanent home now?

  1. I am feeling a bit better today – just a fluke though. Got results of my tests today. I don’t have giardia, I have cryptosporosis. So I’ve taken that nasty medicine for a week and it has not done any good. Tomorrow I get something different for the crypto. Glad you’re back. Hope you and Pug had a really good time. If you need approval for making the blog permanent you have it. I never take issue with what you do.

  2. Just please let the old forum be too, but yeah this blog works.

As for me sharing my writing… I dunno, I have this poem I might share but it is not exactly uplifting, so if I do I want to do it in such a way that it does not lay on the front page of this place but requires a click to get to… I will try to figure it out later.

  3. Yikes on the cryptosporosis – did they report this to public health? Are they checking for contaminated drinking water? I hope that you feel better soon! I hope never to pick up a protozoan parasite myself. :)

TDW – the old forum will eventually disappear. I know you like to archive things but I do not believe in leaving inactive websites, particularly those with personal information, as detritus on the interweb.

Everyone needs to copy anything they want from the old forum. The old lists of useful links are out of date and better lists and links can be found here and in A Curve on the Road. I’d kind of like to save the game. Maybe one day we’ll take another stab at getting it moving again.
